(KRON) – The Colma Police Department’s new mobile fingerprint scanner assisted in finding the real identity of a suspected shoplifter, according to authorities.
Colma police officers were dispatched to a report of a theft at Kohl’s on El Camino Real at approximately 9:38 p.m. on Monday. En route, officers were informed that a woman had shoplifted and began walking toward El Camino Real.
Responding officers located the suspect near El Camino Real and Serramonte Boulevard.
