‘The mother is still a patient too’ | Arkansas hospitals launching program to improve maternal healthcare

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Local hospitals are launching programs to help new moms in the vulnerable months after they give birth.

Arkansas has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the nation and medical experts said that we need to increase our awareness.
