Lafayette Consolidated Government announced that the Lajaunie Road Bridge over Bayou St. Clair Lateral 1 will be closed starting Monday, August 4, for the full replacement of the bridge. Detour routes will be clearly marked using Maryview Farm Road, Moss Street, and East Gloria Switch Road. Residents and emergency vehicles will have local access during the closure.
