A man in his 50s was rescued from a near-drowning at Point Panic in Honolulu’s Kakaako Beach Park on Thursday. Honolulu Ocean Safety said lifeguards responded at about 4:33 p.m. after the man was found unresponsive about 200 yards from shore. He was brought to the Ala Moana Beach Park lifeguard tower by jet ski, where CPR was given, according to KITV.
