Teen Shot in social media marketplace transaction

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a robbery that led to a shooting in the 6500 block of Pine Manor Drive. This happened Saturday afternoon, when a social media marketplace exchange turned violent.

According to a press release, the victim and suspect met to complete the transaction when the suspect shot the victim. The victim, a 17-year-old male, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
