The Town of Summerfield is suing two former employees over several allegations of misconduct.
The town council voted on Monday to retain Sands Anderson to pursue litigation against former Town Manager Scott Whitaker and former finance officer Dee Hall. The decision is the latest in what’s been ongoing internal strife in Summerfield.
