STUART ── To celebrate Martin County’s centennial, A.C.T. Studio Theatre will present a special presentation dedicated to the county’s rich history.
“Martin County: 100 Years” will bring history to life on stage with notable characters from the County’s fascinating and eclectic past. Presented in a series of vignettes, songs and poetry filled with adventurers, pioneers, pirates, scoundrels and movie stars.
Consequential and notorious characters will be part of this centennial production. The roster of historical figures in A.C.T.’s presentation will include Harmon Elliott, Frances Langford, Homer Hine Stuart Jr., Gilbert the Pirate, Laura Upthegrove, Bill McCoy, Abbie Sewall, Susan Bessey and more…
