KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Law enforcement officials in Upper Merion Township arrested a 36-year-old Philadelphia man with multiple outstanding warrants after a dramatic foot pursuit stemming from a theft investigation tied to a vehicle spotted at the King of Prussia Mall.
According to the Upper Merion Township Police Department, officers were alerted on July 31, 2025, to a vehicle associated with a New Jersey cargo theft incident. The vehicle, which had previously fled from police, was located around 2:41 p.m. in the upper level of the Green Parking Garage at the King of Prussia Mall.
Detectives from the department’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) established surveillance. At approximately 3:53 p.m., a woman entered the driver’s seat of the parked vehicle.
