The Iowa, North Skunk, Cedar, and English Rivers all have flood warnings in place at this time. According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast for the English River at Kalona. The flood stage there is 14 feet and on Thursday it reached 16.1 feet. The flood warning there is set through Saturday afternoon.
The North Skunk River near Sigourney has a flood warning in effect through Monday morning. The flood stage there is 16 feet and water rose to over 17 feet on Thursday. Minor flooding is occurring.
