Phoenix police detectives are investigating a Friday shooting in north Phoenix that claimed the life of a 45-year-old woman.
The shooting occurred about 6:10 a.m. Aug. 1 near 40th Street and Meadow Drive. When officers arrived, they found Alma Suchilt with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.
