Tucson Heat Emergency: Triple-Digit Temps and Health Risks Until 8 p.m. Friday

Tucson, Arizona – Extreme heat will grip southern Arizona through Friday evening, with temperatures forecast to climb as high as 116°F in parts of Pima and Pinal counties, posing a serious risk of heat-related illnesses.

According to the National Weather Service in Tucson, an Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. Friday, covering areas including Tucson, Marana, Nogales, Oracle, and Sierra Vista. Highs will range from 103°F to 113°F across most locations, with peak intensity expected Wednesday and Thursday.

Cities such as Green Valley, Ajo, and the Tucson metro are expected to remain under relentless sun and dangerously dry air.
