HARRISBURG, PA — A Northampton County jury has convicted a Mount Bethel man on 51 felony charges related to the possession of child sexual abuse material, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced.
Ricky Raisner, 67, was found guilty on Thursday of 50 counts of sexual abuse of children and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. The verdict followed several days of testimony and evidence presentation in Northampton County Court. His bail was immediately revoked following the conviction, and sentencing is scheduled for December 17.
The case began after investigators from the Attorney General’s Child Predator Section received a cyber tip and traced the digital activity to Raisner’s residence.
