QUEENSBURY — To draw more nurses to the Adirondack Mountains, a Hudson Headwaters board member this summer paid $8,000 for a graduate of SUNY Adirondack to take a job at the health network.
Hudson Headwaters Health Networks operates 26 health centers throughout the sprawling region, providing everything from primary care to obstetrics and urgent care. The network has 1,000 employees, and finding people who are willing to work in far-flung locations is a challenge.
