Tennessee Valley businesses manage rising beef prices

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – With the price of beef at an all-time high, some locally owned meat businesses are finding ways to manage the price hikes.

According to the Department of Agriculture, ground beef prices are up 10% in the last year, rising over $6 a pound for the first time ever. Steak prices have also risen considerably, up 12% in the same time frame.
