The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 2:54 p.m. on Saturday for strong thunderstorms until 3:45 p.m. for Baldwin County.
Wind gusts of up to 30 mph and pea-sized hail (0.25 inches) are anticipated.
“At 2:54 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm near Bay Minette, moving north at 15 mph,” states the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.”…
