MPD, MFD respond to 2 early morning crashes on Union Ave.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department and Memphis Fire Department responded to two crashes on Union Avenue on Sunday morning.

The first crash happened just after 2:35 a.m. at Union Avenue and S. Lauderdale Street.

Officers spoke with the driver of a Nissan Altima, who said that he was sitting at a red light at Union Avenue and S. Lauderdale when a vehicle rear-ended him, pushing his car into the intersection and hitting a Honda Civic…
