Palm Beach County motorists, take note: the intersection of Northlake Boulevard and Beeline Highway is shutting down for nine days straight for some key railroad work. Starting from 8 p.m. tonight until next Sunday, CSX is taking over the spot to replace tracks and enhance signal systems.
While the work is set to throw a wrench into daily commutes, the county has prepped a series of detours to reroute traffic. Following roads like Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, Southern Boulevard, and others will be your best bet for getting around. With law enforcement on-hand, hopping from Military Trail back to Northlake Boulevard might be less of a headache than you’d think. Detour signs are posted everywhere, and if needed, officers are ready to step in to keep cars moving smoothly.
For the emergency responders, no roadblock is too big—even when Northlake Boulevard and Beeline Highway are out of commission.
