Average gasoline prices in Roanoke increased ten cents per gallon in the last week

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Average gasoline prices in Roanoke are up ten cents per gallon in the last week, averaging out to $2.96 per gallon, according to Gasbuddy’s survey of 155 stations in the Star City.

Gasoline prices in Roanoke are unchanged from a month ago and 29 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average of diesel has decreased 0.1 cents in the last week and stands at $3.71 per gallon.

Also according to Gasbuddy, the most affordable station in Roanoke was priced at $2.63 per gallon while the most expensive station was $3.19 per gallon, a difference of $0.56 per gallon. The lowest price recorded in the Commonwealth was $2.59 per gallon while the highest recorded price per gallon was $3.99 per gallon, the difference being $1.40 per gallon…
