Even though some of us are getting a midday break, additional showers and storms are building in from the west. There is a slight risk for excessive rainfall today. Additional Flood Advisories/Flash Flood Warnings will be possible.

Just like we have already seen this morning, these showers can produce a lot of rainfall in a quick amount of time. Although some of us will not even get rain today, it is important to note the flooding potential for those that do. Thankfully, our severe risk is low today, but storms could produce gusts near 40 miles per hour. Isolated downpours will be possible overnight as well…
