Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded around 8:13 p.m. to a house fire on Meadowneck Ct in Silver Spring.
According to MCFRS spokesperson David Pazos, crews found a hybrid vehicle on fire in the garage, with flames extending into the second floor. Two occupants and a pet escaped safely. One adult was evaluated after attempting to extinguish the fire but was not transported.
