Jackson councilman wants action on PJ Williams bridge

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson City Councilman Kenneth Stokes, Ward 3, said the city should break the deadlock on repairing the PJ Williams bridge.

Stokes and Pastor PJ Williams said it’s important to reconstruct the bridge, which is located outside Cornerstone Baptist Church.

The councilman said the bridge closure keeps students from getting to school and community members from getting to their churches.
