PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead near a mall in west Phoenix on Friday morning.
Phoenix police officers responded around 10 a.m. to reports of a dead body near 75th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard, south of Desert Sky Mall. Police found an unresponsive woman who was pronounced dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
The area has been secured, and homicide detectives have been called to the scene. Other details were not immediately available…
