As crazy as this statement is going to sound, Michigan is pretty fortunate when it comes to severe weather. Sure, Michiganders deal with blizzards and freezing temperatures during winter, but generally, we don’t have too much to worry about. A tornado here and there (except this year, which is reaching a record), and a small earthquake every few years.
