When is it Going to Rain?
It’s going to rain pretty much all day. From morning through evening, rounds of showers will move into the Piedmont. This is coming at us from the south, and moisture moves northward.
At the same time, cool air is already locked in around here and will make that rainfall a little bit more likely and a little bit heavier.
While it won’t rain every minute of the day, it’s basically a washout – and that’s why we’re calling it an Alert Day.
It’s Going to be How Cool?
Temperatures will be about as cool as you could imagine for August. We’ll be in the mid-60s for the morning, and possibly even drop into the low 60s by the afternoon and evening…
