Comstock Twp. deputy chief arraigned in drunk driving incident that injured child

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Michael Dyer, deputy chief of Comstock Township Fire and Rescue, has been arraigned after authorities say he hit a child while driving drunk in June.

Friday, Dyer was arraigned on a charge of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, according to court documents obtained by News Channel 3 on Monday.

He was given a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
