Two people were killed and six others injured in a mass shooting in an area of downtown Los Angeles where several parties were happening overnight, authorities said.
The mass shooting happened around 1 a.m. Monday in the area of 14th Place and Griffith Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. There were reportedly multiple parties taking place in the area at that time.
