The Germantown Police Department welcomed two new officers to their ranks last week, in a ceremony presided over by Judge Clift. The new additions, Mike Bunyon and Randy Tran, come to the department with distinct backgrounds and a dedication to serving the Germantown community.
Officer Mike Bunyon, who moved from Chicago with his family, brings over a decade of experience from the Chicago Police Department. His tenure there distinguished him with accolades such as the Act of Valor Award, and Life-Saving Awards, and commendations that speak to his commitment to the force. Officer Randy Tran is a native of Memphis and an alumnus of Power Center Academy and the University of Memphis.
