A fatal motorcycle collision claimed the life of an Antioch man late Friday night on Interstate 65, authorities report. Daryus Chambers, 37, was involved in a wreck with another motorcyclist by the exit for Briley Parkway around 10:45 p.m., according to FOX17. Chambers’ bike reportedly made contact with a tractor-trailer, causing him to crash.
After hitting the tractor-trailer, the Metro Nashville Police Department indicates that Chambers was subsequently struck by an 18-year-old motorcyclist, who also lost control and crashed. Running over Chambers, the teenager sustained non-life-threatening injuries as reported by WSMV.
