Sonoma Resident Arrested After Leading Petaluma Police on High-Speed DUI Chase

A high-speed chase unfolded on the streets of Petaluma last Friday, as police officers pursued a DUI suspect over a five-mile stretch. According to a social media post by the Petaluma Police Department, at about 6:07 PM, officers responded to reports of a vehicle obstructing traffic on Payran Street. The driver, found alone in the car, was later identified as 60-year-old Sonoma resident Kathleen Storrs.

When police attempted to approach the vehicle, Storrs sped off, leading officers on a pursuit that saw her run multiple red lights and vary her speed from 3 to 50 MPH, creating hazardous conditions for other road users.
