WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The main branch of the New Hanover County public library is now closed, along with a downtown parking deck.
The main branch of the library closed on Aug. 4, as staff work to relocate into a new facility within Project Grace. The library will reopen in October at the new location.
“Since the day I started working here, I’ve been looking forward to this move. We have staff who have been working in this building for over 40 years, who are excited about the move,” said Dana Conners, the New Hanover County Public Library Director. “It’s a little trepidacious, you know it’s a new thing, but I think everyone will be really pleased with the results.”…
