Siouxland Libraries’ Oak View Branch will close from mid-August through the end of the year as the library is renovated, according to a release from the city.
The 20-year-old library will be closed on Aug. 18 for renovations to its front entrance, reorganization of staff areas, additions of new study rooms and a fenced-in outdoor patio space that allows for expanded programming, the release said.
Starting Aug. 11, the library’s meeting and study rooms will close to the public, and all programming will be suspended. Patrons will also no longer be able to select the branch as their pickup for holds as of that date, though existing holds may be picked up until Aug. 17…
