TRACKING HENRIETTE | Tropical Storm Henriette forms in the Pacific

HONOLULU (Island News) — As of late Monday morning, Tropical Depression Eight-E has strengthened into Tropical Storm Henriette.

The storm is located far out in the Pacific Ocean, about 895 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja California.

Henriette is moving west-northwest at about 15 miles per hour and is expected to continue in that general direction for the next few days. Winds around the storm have reached speeds of 45 miles per hour, with stronger gusts. Forecasters say Henriette may get a little stronger over the next couple of days…
