Pedestrian struck, killed in parking lot off Ashley Phosphate Road early Tuesday morning

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in North Charleston are investigating a deadly Tuesday morning auto-pedestrian crash.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a person in the parking lot of a gas station at 2516 Ashley Phosphate Road around 6:30 a.m.

The pedestrian was found unresponsive when officers arrived. The victim, who has not yet been publicly identified, died at the scene…
