2 rescued from ‘one of the most dangerous’ places in Madera County

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two people had to be rescued from “one of the most dangerous” places in Madera County over the weekend.

Deputies say EMS responded to separate rescues at Angel Falls, a watering hole about half a mile up from Bass Lake, on Sunday. One of the rescues involved a broken arm, while the other involved a head injury.

Both victims received treatment and are expected to recover, but Sheriff Tyson Pogue says these incidents are a reminder that even beautiful places can pose serious dangers…
