Cornhole tournament held for 5-year-old with hydrocephalus

BEL AIRE, Kan. (KSNW) – The fourth annual Team Amelia Cornhole Benefit Tournament took place in Bel Aire on Saturday.

The fundraiser supports 5‑year‑old Amelia, who was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at just 4 months old. The condition causes cerebrospinal fluid to build up in the brain’s ventricles, increasing pressure on the brain. Over the years, Amelia has undergone 15 surgeries and has been diagnosed with other health challenges.

Proceeds from the tournament have already helped cover some of her ongoing medical expenses, including the cost of a service dog trained to detect low blood sugar and provide companionship…
