HILLSDALE, N.J. (PIX11) – A second earthquake has rocked New Jersey just days after a 3.0-magnitude quake shook the area on Saturday, according to the USGS.
The USGS said a 2.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Hillsdale, which is about 65 miles away from Trenton, a little after 12 p.m. on Tuesday. The epicenter of the quake was a home in Washington Township, according to the agency.

The earthquake could be felt as far south as Cape May, N.J., according to the USGS. One person reported feeling the quake as far north as Albany, N.Y., near Poughkeepsie.
