CHP Mojave officer allegedly catches driver speeding 118 mph

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The California Highway Patrol’s specially marked patrol vehicles have been in Kern County for months and officers say they are making an impact.

The CHP Mojave office nabbed a driver for speeding at 118 mph in eastern Kern County, according to a Facebook post that was made public on Monday.

CHP said that the level of speed this vehicle was traveling at is incredibly dangerous.

Drivers have less time to react to errors occurring on the roadway at this speed, CHP said…
