Elderly man injured, his dog dead after Huber Heights dog attack

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — Two dogs attacked an 89-year-old man and his dog over the weekend, with neighbors saying this has been an ongoing issue.

Charles Doran and his dog, Rocco, were taking a walk on Saturday when they were attacked by two dogs in their Huber Heights neighborhood along Old Troy Pike.

The attack eventually caused Rocco to die from his injuries, and left Charles with scratched and bloody hands.

2 NEWS obtained the police report from the investigation, and while one name was listed as a potential suspect for having a “dog at large” in the area, no one knows who owns the dogs that were off leash at the time of the attack…
