Transformation Complete: Evansville’s Bedford Tavern is Now a Shared Commercial Kitchen

A brand-new resource for aspiring chefs and local food startups is about to make its official debut in Evansville. Bedford Collab, the area’s first-ever shared community kitchen and collaborative space for foodpreneurs, is hosting a special ribbon-cutting and open house event on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Bedford Collab to Celebrate Grand Opening With Community Event

The event will take place from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Bedford Collab, with activities happening both inside and outside the venue. This exciting new space is designed to support creativity, connection, and innovation in the local food scene. It’s the first of its kind in the Evansville region and aims to serve as a launchpad for food-based businesses and entrepreneurs.

The highlight of the evening is the official ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 7:15 PM, which will be followed by an open house where guests can explore the space, network, and learn more about upcoming opportunities.
