LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky Kingdom brought smiles to children Tuesday but not through thrill rides.
The amusement park collected toys from guests and delivered them to patients at Norton Children’s Hospital today.
Kentucky Kingdom collected the toys July 25 and discount admission in exchange for a new, unwrapped toy. Park officials said they decided to do a summer drive because the hospital said donations flood in during the holidays but not as much during the rest of the year…
