A robbery that occurred in the 5300 block of Meadowlake Drive has been reported, where a victim was assaulted and robbed by a man who initially offered help with her groceries. The Memphis Police Department released details stating that last Friday at around 11:00 a.m., the male suspect took advantage of the victim’s trust, subsequently choking her to unconsciousness before fleeing with her credit, debit cards, and personal information.
The suspect is described as a medium-complexion male, thought to be in his early 40s and he had a short twist hairstyle. According to the Memphis Police Department’s report, he was last seen wearing a gray hat that featured a brown logo, a blue T-shirt emblazoned with a “Chucky” logo, khaki pants, and white shoes, and with the incident taking place in broad daylight, it has raised concerns amongst the local community…
