Police arrested a 31-year-old man this week on allegations that he murdered a man in Portland in 2023.
Amel Johnson was indicted last year in the June 23, 2023, killing of Marlan Johnson, 24. He was arrested Monday on charges that included second-degree murder and was booked into Multnomah County Detention Center.
