Chattanooga, TN – With Hamilton County Schools back in session on Thursday, the Chattanooga Police Department is reminding motorists that school zone speed limits will once again be in effect across the city.
Officers will be conducting traffic enforcement in designated school zones to help ensure students arrive and leave safely during the first days of the new school year.
Drivers are asked to slow down and remain alert during active school zone hours, which generally run from 7:00 to 8:45 a.m. and 2:15 to 4:00 p.m., depending on each school’s schedule…
