A two-month operation in central Georgia led to nearly 50 arrests and the seizure of more than $2.3 million worth of illegal drugs, 37 firearms, and 18 vehicles, authorities said.
Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countrymen on Monday announced that 22 search warrants had been executed over the past 60 days, leading to the arrests of 47 individuals on charges including murder, attempted murder, sexual exploitation of children and drug trafficking.
