The developer who acquired a former golf course in Walker for a massive housing project is looking to offload the property to a new developer, citing construction financing hurdles.
An entity tied to Noblesville, Ind.-based Domo Development Company LLC entered into an agreement on June 6 to sell the nearly 142-acre former English Hills Country Club at 1470 and 1200 4 Mile Road NW in Walker to an affiliate of Menominee Falls, Wis.-based Continental Properties Company Inc., a multifamily developer with a presence in 20 states that’s behind several West Michigan projects.
