Dirt will begin to move on the first phase of the $65 million Pinhook Creek project that includes Skybridge later this year, according to City Urban and Economic Development Director Shane Davis.
“Things are still on schedule,” Davis told AL.com. “We were able to secure our PARC (Pedestrian Access and Redevelopment Corridor) grant that we received for the project. We’re working on our final permits with the Army Corps of Engineers to get the project out and ready to bid. We think we will have everything ready to bid in the next couple of months.”
