Louisville woman charged after 20 dead cats found inside Okolona home

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville woman who was charged with 24 counts of animal abuse was arraigned Wednesday, months after 20 cats were found dead a home in Okolona.

Tiffany Arnold is accused of leaving 24 cats inside an empty house in the 7300 block of Leisure Court. That’s where Louisville Metro Animal Services officials responded to the house on March 11, but were unable to locate Arnold for permission to get inside until March 17.

Once LMAS entered the home, they found 20 dead cats, and four cats that were still alive. One of those cats was rushed to an animal hospital but had to be euthanized due to the severity of its injuries, according to court documents…
