UPDATE (2:15 p.m.): News 5 spoke with one of the owners at Semmes Pharmacy, who provided surveillance video of the break-in and more information.
According to the owners, they have enhanced and increased their security.
In a statement sent to News 5, the owners said, “We’re heartbroken, but standing strong — and we are open today to care for our patients just like always. Please join us in prayer for peace, protection, and for justice to be served. We hold tight to Romans 8:28 — ‘And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.’ Thank you for loving and supporting us. We love this community and are proud to serve you.”
