MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tennessee’s biggest construction effort – the replacement of a 76-year-old bridge over the Mississippi River near Memphis – is gearing up for a construction start in 2026.
The largest construction project statewide is being led by construction manager Kiewit Infrastructure South. At $794 million, it’s the largest transportation investment in Tennessee history.
