Teen arrested in Roanoke shooting

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke Police Department has announced the arrest of one of the two teenagers who were injured in an August 2 shooting.

A 15-year-old male from Roanoke was arrested and charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling, and possession of a firearm by a juvenile, on Monday, August 4, said officials.

The initial shooting occurred on August 2, when officers responded to the report of a gunshot wound victim in the 1300 block of Crescent Street NW. When they arrived, officials say officers found the teen suspect with non-life-threatening gunshot wound injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment…
